Rona Akbari

Rona Akbari is an Afghan digital media producer, writer, & filmmaker based in Brooklyn & Florida. Her work has been featured in BuzzFeed, NPR, National Geographic, Marie Claire, & The Creative Independent. She has acted in, written, and directed films with 5th Floor Pictures & is the co-host of the micro-podcast Just Warm Spaces. Rona has taught, & exhibited work, at Washington University, Data & Society Research Institute & School for Poetic Computation.
